A wonderful Villa that offers the best of Spanish style and design. You will fall in love with the details such as the turret with the multiple arched windows that allow you to see the sea, mountains and the castle of Salobreña from everywhere - including the kitchen! The castle is illuminated at night. It is picture perfect! Torre del Mar has multiple terraces and balconies to allow you to enjoy the amazing views and the good weather. The private pool is 10 meters long and great for young children as it has an extended shallow end with a depth of only 40 cm. This is perfect for young kids to play on their own and adults to lounge with a book and a glass of sangria! Another special feature of Torre del Mar is the round tub for 2 in the luxurious master bathroom. In winter, this is a favourite of the children. It serves as our indoor pool! Villa Torre del Mar is located in a quiet area within an established residential community. It is perfect for those who want to unwind; yet beaches, restaurants & shops are only 5 minutes away. Our guests have unlimited free use of the large community pool, childrens pool, tennis court, table tennis and football pitch. There is easy access to the historic city of Granada and the breathtaking Alhambra Palace, the Alpujarras with its small mountain villages where it seems as if time has stopped, and the Sierra Nevada mountains great for both skiing and hiking.

Bedrooms: Master bedroom has a queen size bed and an en suite bathroom. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. One with a queen size bed and the other with 2 twin beds. Sleeps 6 in total. Villa nice for 2 families sharing a holiday as the 2 bedrooms with queen size beds are on separate floors allowing for plenty of privacy. Bathrooms: The spacious & luxurious master bathroom has double basins, a walk in shower and a large round bathtub for 2. Shared downstairs bathroom has double vanity and bath tub. Beautiful, colourful cloak room upstairs. Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with superb views to the sea & castle of Salobrena. All new, top quality electric appliances with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, tea kettle, coffee maker, juicer, washing machine, iron/board. Lounges & Dining Area: Spacious open plan lounge & dining area with phenomenal views. Dining room table seats 6. Table & chairs for outdoor dining on pool terrace and both balconies. Entertainment: Satellite TV, DVD, portable radio, cassette and CD player, board games, books. Air & Heat: Air-conditioning in the kitchen, lounge and dining area. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. Central heating throughout the villa. General: Linen and towels provided, including beach towels. Outside: Private swimming pool with amazing views. Two terraces off of the lounge and dining area and one off of the master bedroom. 100 plus meters of tiled terraces around the pool with outdoor table and chairs, sun loungers and gas BBQ. Garden with mature trees for kids to play in. Guests have free access to the private, community recreation area that includes tennis court, football field, large pool, children´s pool, playground, table tennis and a kiosk selling drinks and refreshments in the summer. NOTES: - Complimentary welcome kit provided. SURROUNDING AREA & ACTIVITIES: Salobrena, dazzling and white, in the heart of the Costa Tropical, situated on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean. It is one of the prettiest towns in southern Spain with its winding narrow streets and magnificent Moorish castle perched high on the hill. The scenery ranges from lush sugar cane, fruit plantations, rugged snow-capped mountains, coves and beaches, pine forests and almond groves. The area enjoys a sub-tropical climate, with a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius in winter & 25 degrees in summer, allowing for year round enjoyment of the nearby golf course and the various beaches spread over 19 kilometres of coastline. Opportunities for walking, climbing, water sports, golf, horse riding, hang gliding and even skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Nearby mountain villages await to be discovered where it seems as if time has stopped. Granada, the Moorish capital with the breathtaking Alhambra Palace and relaxing thermal spas are only 45 minutes away, Malaga 1 hr, Nerja 30 minutes, Almunecar waterpark 15 minutes. You won´t be bored here, unless you just want to sit by the pool and take in the views! The owners live in the area and provide useful information on everything from sight seeing and entertainment options to restaurant and shopping tips. CHANGEOVER DAY: - Saturday is our preferred changeover day BOOKING DETAILS: - Discounts of up to 25% available for long winter lets. Ask for details! - There is a 30% deposit when booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed. - Payment is possible by bank transfer or Visa/Mastercard (2% surcharge). - Security/breakage deposit of €300 payable on arrival. - Electricity charged at cost of 10 cents per kwH for lets from 28 October to 30 March.
