Description of Apartment:
Casa Caballos is the perfect setting for a rural Spanish Andalucian holiday. Whether thats sunning yourself by our pool, with its stunning views across the valley to Iznájar Lake, or enjoying tranquillity of the olive groves and the white villages. Casa Caballos is typical Andalucian farmhouse set in four acres of it’s own land. We have sympathetically restored the farmhouse and created the two holiday apartments for rental. Both have been tastefully and comfortably furnished, with log burning stoves for the winters nights and private patios for the long summer evenings. Should you be seeking solace from the busy world, the apartments have been distanced to provide privacy for all. The house is situated between Iznájar Lake, Montefrio, Priego de Cordoba and historic Loja. Just an hour from Malaga airport, the coast and Granada, we are ideally located to explore the Malaga and Granada provinces. The local area is packed with things to do from hiking, skiing, bird watching to even the more extreme climbing and mountain biking. We positively encourage families with young children. We have two ourselves and know how difficult finding child friendly accommodation can be. Our pool has a toddler’s section (also perfect for non-swimming adults). We have a purpose built play area and plenty of toys. On request we can provide cots, highchairs and sterilizing equipment. Baby-sitting can also be arranged on a limited basis so that you can enjoy the local nightlife and fiestas. Shopping and groceries are easily available in either Zagra or Ventorres de San Jose, our neighbouring villages. There are also over ten bars and restaurants to choose from. The Farmhouse The Farmhouse is a luxurious 3 bedroomed family house. With a typical Andalucian layout, the house is centered around the vine covered courtyard, ideal for al fresco dining or just lazing in a hammock. The three large bedrooms, one with a massive en-suite, one with a stunning terrace with views to the lake, can comfortably accommodate 7 people. (cots and extra beds can also be added). The vaulted double height lounge and attached games room has satelite TV and a DVD player with many films for all the family. The kitchen and dining room come fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and a large dining table for the whole family. The Stables The Stables is a beautiful two bed roomed holiday apartment. It has two double bedrooms one with a king size bed and one with two singles. It also has its own patio and views over the valley to the lake at Iznájar for dining al fresco or just enjoying the tranquillity. There is a kitchen with dining area and a large bathroom with a bath. (That may sound obvious but many of them dont!). The Tack Room This comfy spacious studio is perfect for a couple or small family. It has a lounge with a log burning stove for the chilly nights, and its own private patio with panoramic views for those long summer evenings. It has a kitchen and dining area. Also a lovely bathroom with power shower. It has a large king-size bed and we can provide a z bed or cots for those with children. Facilities We have a wonderful 11 meter pool with a separate safe shallow area for kids and non swimmers. Its above the house for privacy and has its own 100 square meter patio. Theres even an area for the kids! There are also 3 and half acres of land to explore. We have an orchard, about 100 olive trees and a small wood further up the hill. There are no boundary fences so you are free to wander.

The farmhouse has satelite TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, main courtyard and private sun terrace. Both apartments are fully equiped for self catering.- Microwave, hob, fridge, sofa bed. They all have king size beds. Both have private patios and dining tables. Shared pool and private sun terrace. We Keep horses and donkeys on our farm. We can arrange for treks for any expirienced riders.
