This exquisite traditional Spanish townhouse is located in the heart of the picturesque historical old town of Altea. Situated on CALLE BUENAVISTA, from all windows, french doors and two roof terraces you have breathtaking, panoranic sea Veiws accross the bay/marina of Altea and veiws of the coast, this charming and spacious two bedroomed, double fronted Spanish townhouse stands on one of the most sought after cobbled streets, in the old town of Altea. The property has a living/lounge room with sofa bed, Hi Fi system, Television & Dvd player, the house is quaint and very tastefully decorated with a traditional Spanish touch. There is a large bathroom with walk in shower, vanity unit and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equiped with breakfast bar, here you can look out to the med while you eat, there is a fridge, freezer,kettle, microwave,toaster,juicer and a hob/cooker with oven.There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and french doors looking out upon breath taking sea views, the second bedroom consists of two single beds a large wardrobe and wonderfull sea views from the window.
There are 2 VERY PRIVATE roof terraces which are NOT overlooked , The terraces boast the same spactacular sea veiws as those from the main veiwing point in the church square, they have been likened to a moving postcard. The 1st terrace is partially covered and has a table and 6 chairs, ideal for alfresco dining whilst also taking in the fatastic clear views of Calpe along the coast to Albir and Benidorm, there is also a barbecue for our guests to use. The 2nd roof terrace is on a higher level than the 1st, it has the same amazing, panoramic sea views, Altea beach and Harbour. The second roof terrace is completely open to the elements and ideal for relaxing and maximizing your sun tan. You could even bathe nude ! ! !
There are 4 sun lounger/beds on this open terrace. The unspoilt Beach in Altea is a 5 minute walk from the house, there are a are a host of restaurants and Tapas bars along the seafront , the train station is also less than a 5 minutes walk, with trains 1/2 hourly to Denia/Calpe/Benidorm,there are plenty of shopping opportunities to be had in Altea high street or peruse round the local markets which are well advertised.
The Church Square is the pinnacle of the old town, aproximately a 2 minute walk from the house, from the left or the right of leaving the property you can enter the ancient narrow cobbled streets that lead up to the Plaza de Nuestra Senora del Consuleo and the impressive church with its fabulous blue dome, here the streets are lined with a wide selection of craft workshops, art galleries, chic restaurants and bars. The Old town itself boasts of many restaurants and bars that suit all tastes and pockets.
FIESTAS ARE NOT TO BE MISSED IN THE CHURCH SQUARE.
The nearest cybernet/internet cafe is within 5 miutes walk from the house.
There are organised walks to the Sierra Bernia mountain range which embraces Altea, these take place out of peak season for obvious climate reasons.There is a swimming pool in the Cap Negret Hotel which you can use with no charge, this is about 2 km up the N332 towards Calpe on the right side of the road,there is also a large swimming pool at the Barbacoa Tennis Club/Restaurant for general public use, they only charge 3 euros/ day,this is a 1 km walk from the house.
