Cottage in a quiet and pretty village, 15 minutes from the beaches of the Costa de la Luz and 4km from the beautiful medieval town of Vejer

Description of Cottage: |
La Casita stands in a secluded corner of the village of Santa Lucia, with superb views of the rolling Andalusian countryside. The house is built and furnished in traditional style and is surrounded by gardens and fields. It is ideally situated for people who seek peace and seclusion and want to enjoy the sandy Atlantic beaches, spectacular countryside and the traditional Moorish architecture of the Andalusian villages and towns.
The house has 2 patios and a barbecue, and stands in a corner of the owner’s terraced 1 acre garden, which visitors are welcome to use. Avocado, orange, pomegranate, lemon, kaki, loquat and quince trees, flowers and flowering shrubs grow in the garden.
The houses electricity is supplied by solar panels (no hair-driers or irons please!) and the water is from a spring.
The platform bedroom on the first floor has a splendid double bed and wonderful views. It is accessed by steep stairs.
Parking is 2 minutes walk away on a rough track.
We have been living and working in Santa Lucía for 24 years and are very happy to pass on some of our local knowledge to our visitors. |

Facilities: |
Bathroom with wc, wash-basin, shower and small sit-up bath.
Kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and well equipped with good quality kitchenware.
Living Room with double sofa bed, dining table, wood burning stove, radio, CD and cassette player.
Bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided. There is no washing machine but the owner will be happy to do a weekly wash for you in her machine (or more than 1 if required).
There is a small freshwater pool for cooling off (water supply is dependant on the year’s rainfall - please check with the owner).
Changeover day is Saturday. We ask guests to please leave by 10 oclock and arrive after 4 oclock.
