Description of Apartment: |
Marina del Este is one hour east of Malaga airport. The marina nestles in a cove at the bottom of the mountains. The area is very beautiful and tastefully developed, there are no high rise buildings in the development or the adjoining bay of La Herradura.
The marina and La Herradura have restaurants and beaches, walkable if you like walking or take a car (0.75-1.5km).
The neighbouring town of Almuñecar is 4 km away and provides good shopping, a weekly friday market and a waterpark.
This area is little known to tour operators and is attracting many discerning holiday makers and investors.
We would recommend hiring a car for airport transfer, shopping trips, visits to waterpark, caves, mountains, waterfalls etc.
The better known town of Nerja is 12km away with its famous caves.The Sierra Nevada ski resort and Alhambra palace are only one and a half hours away in Granada.
