Description of Apartment: |
Self-catering, three bedroom fully furnished first floor apartment situated on a private residential complex, sleeps six (two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom). It has two bathrooms (one with shower and the other with bath and shower), a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, english satelite TV plus DVD player. The apartment has been built to a very high standard and has ceramic tiled flooring throughout. It has a lounge/dining area and a spacious balcony which overlooks the beautifully maintained gardens that have two pools (one with jacuzzi) plus a kiddies pool. There is also a secure childrens play area in a discreet corner of the gardens away from the apartment. Bath/hand/ beach towels are provided as well as bed linen, hairdryer, iron. The apartment is cleaned before you go in and when you leave.
If fresh linen is required there is a charge of 10 euros per person. However, most customers prefer to wash the bedding themselves as there is a washing machine in the apartment.
The apartment can be accessed by stairs or lift, it is fully airconditioned throughout, but also has central heating for the winter months.
It is ideally situated for a number of amenities:-
1. Port Aventura Universal Studios is only a 10 minute drive or you can take the road train, bus or taxi.
2. The sandy beaches of Salou are within 15 minutes walking distance, as are shops, bars, restaurants and public transport.
3. A supermarket and restaurant with large childrens play area is approx a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
4. The beautiful fishing port of Cambrils with its excellent seafood restaurants and shops is about a 5 minute drive.
5. The main centre of Salou is approx a 5 minute drive away.
5. The old Roman town of Tarragona is 15 minutes away with its stunning cathedral and Roman ruins.
6. Barcelona is easily accessible by road or train.
7. Reus airport is approx. 10 minutes drive from the apartment, Barcelona airport is about an hours drive.
8. Costa Caribe water park is only a 10 minute drive or you can take the road train, bus or taxi.
9. Aquapolis water and dolphin park is only 15 minutes drive away.
10. Golf courses nearby.
Ryan Air run cheap flights on a regular basis to Reus airport and the earlier you book, the cheaper the flight. Easy Jet also run cheap flights to Barcelona airport on the same principle as Ryan Air, the earlier you book the cheaper the flight.
A CAR IS ADVISABLE, but public transport in Salou is excellent and runs on a regular basis throughout the summer months. However, during the winter months public transport runs on a reduced timetable.
A local contact is on hand to see you in and can be contacted in case of any problems. There are no public phones in the vicinity of the apartment so it is advisable to take a mobile phone with you. Spanish sim cards can be purchased at a vodafone or movistar store in Salou.
A deposit is required to secure a booking, with the remaining balance payable 6 weeks before the holiday date. Prices advertised are in £s (not euros) and payment can be made by sterling cheque or bank transfer. Should you wish to pay in euros on arrival in Spain then the cost will be charged at the rate of exchange on the day of booking.
Due to previous unpleasant experiences, we can no longer accept bookings from young single groups ONLY families. If customers arrive and we find they are a group of young single people then unfortunately we reserve the right to refuse access to the apartment. Please take note of this if considering making a booking because a refund will not be possible as we will have lost a booking and we do not want to offend anyone
If you find the dates you require are booked on the calendar, please email or phone as we may be able to offer you accommodation either in another apartment on the same complex or a different complex.
