Casa Los Zuecos
Los Zuecos is located between Torrox and Competa on 2500m2 own property (on one of the slopes of La Rabita 694 mtrs, see map) providing great views from all terraces and garden. In wintertime it is even possible to see Gibraltar and Africa! The distance to Competa and Torrox is only 7 km in each direction and the house is accessible by a new tarmac road (1,5 km, last 300 meters track). It only takes a 25 minutes drive to the beach of Torrox-Costa. Los Zuecos is ideal if you are looking for a combination of rural tranquility and vividness of the beach or Nerja (15 km).
What do you get?
The house is very modern, luxurious and with some special features, like extra windows in the bathroom so that youll have great views overlooking the valley while taking your bath! The living room gives access to the terrace (12 * 3 mtrs) where you can relax and enjoy the lights of Torre del Mar and Malaga at night. The kitchen is spacious and has its own terrace (3 * 4 mtrs) which gives access to the terrace/balcony on the first floor. There is airconditioning and floor heating in most of the rooms providing a pleasant temperature in the house all year around.
What can you do?
Los Zuecos/Competa is perfect for all kind of activities. Competa is well-known for walking (National Parque The Tejada), you can even climb the Maroma (2065 meters). You can enjoy nice days at the beach (especially between Torrox-Costa and Nerja) with all kind of facilities or experience the Spanish atmosphere in Torrox pueblo and Nerja (great promenade Balcon de Europa). The proximity of the new highway makes its easy to visit Sevilla (3 hours), Malaga (1 hour) or Granada (1,5 hours). From December - May it is possible to ski in the Sierra Nevada (2 hours).
