Description of Townhouse: |
Welcome to our large and extended townhouse, which is situated in the Portico Mediterraneo urbanisation. This is just off the main N-332 Alicante to Cartagena coastal road in the Southern Costa Blanca. Journey time from Alicante airport, by car or taxi, is only 30 minutes. From Murcia airport the journey time is approximately 45 minutes. The townhouse is only two miles south of Guardamar and three miles north of Torrevieja. The beach is only a short (10 minutes!) walk through the pine groves, a feature of this area. The ever popular Benidorm, including the thrills and excitement of Terra Mitica theme park, is only an hours drive by car. To the south is the unique beach and sports resort of La Manga. The Costa Blanca is also a golfers paradise with golf available all year on a wide variety of challenging courses.
The townhouse is a four storey property (including roof solarium and spacious basement) and is fully furnished to a high standard. Sleeping 7 in full comfort, the house has 4 bedrooms comprising one double, two twin bedded rooms and one single bed room. The main bedroom benefits from fitted wardrobes, and all upstairs bedrooms have bedside tables and ceiling fans. The spacious lounge and dining area is comfortably furnished and "beam" TV incorporating all BBC, ITV and Sky channels is provided for your entertainment. A DVD player and hi-fi sysytem are also available for use. The lounge is also fitted with two ceiling fans.
In our basement, there is a second lounge, ideal for teenage children to get away from the rest of the family! There is a PlayStation 2 console set up in the basement to amuse the children (or adults!). There is also a DVD and video recorder should you wish to watch DVDs or films during your stay. There is another twin bedroom and one single bedroom also available in the basement. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. The family bathroom on the first floor comprises bath with over bath shower, wc, bidet and vanity basin. A second family bathroom with shower and WC is located in the basement to cater for two of the bedrooms. A further WC and washbasin are located in our small bathroom on the ground floor.
The additional outside space belonging to our property provides a major additional benefit, when compared with other rented accommodation in the area. Our large furnished front terrace overlooks the enclosed garden whilst our furnished rear terrace has the facilities for a barbeque and leads to the enclosed large community pool. To maintain your privacy, the pool can only be used by urbanisation residents. At the top of the villa is the large roof solarium which receives direct sun all day.
