Altos de la Bahia is a quiet complex. You can reach the blue flag Sandy beaches of La Mata within 10 minutes walk. Within 15 minutes you reach bars, restaurants, pharmacys, news agent, grocery shopping, cafés and more.
Torrevieja is an ancient seaport. Here you find many historic sites, churches and museums. You also have to visit the harbour and the boardwark. Every day of the week you will finde one of the very Spanish and traditional markets where you can buy everything from fruits to clothes and candy.
By car you can reach the local water park, The Habaneras Shopping Center and bowling within 5 minutes.
Within 20 minutes drive you reach the golfcourses of Villamartin, Campoamor, La Finca and Las Ramblas. Within the same distance you will find horseback riding and go-carts.
Within 30 minutes drive you can reach Alicante, Murcia and Elche (with one of Europes larges palmforest).
Of daytrips we can recommend a boat trip to Tabarca from Santa Pola. MundoMar (big waterpark and Dolphin show) in Benidorm. Terre Mitica Themepark and Rio de Safari de Elche.
