Description of Apartment:
This can be a ralaxing, get away from it all holiday or you can participate in the numerous sporting facilities available locally. There are also many interesting places to visit. This comfortable 2 bedroom apartment is set in the delightful Altea Dorada complex. It has the benefit of a swimming pool, which is set in tropical gardens, where you can cool off or just relax on a lounger under a palm tree. There is also a separate sun terrace. There is a sea view to the front and mountains to the rear. A truly fabulous landscape. THE APARTMENT itself has a master bedroom with en-suite which includes a spa bath. Lovely to relax in with a glass of cava and just candles for light! The second bedroom has twin beds and a separate shower room with wc and wash basin. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes with drawer space too. The second bedroom has patio doors which opens out onto a small glassed terraceyou can sit and relax which in turn leads out on to the rear terrace with views of the gardens. There is a large front terrace - 40+m2 - with sea views. The lounge is comfortable with 2 sofas, dining table and chairs. There is a flat screen TV which receives UK TV. If you bring your Sky card with you, you can get your usual sky package as well. There is also a cd player, board games and English books. There is a fully fitted kitchen with marble worktops,oven, ceramic hob, coffee machine, toaster, fridge/freezer and in the utility room youll find the washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is hot/cold air conditioning. SECURITY The complex is fully fenced and gated. There is a speaker phone entry system for easy identification of visitors. The patio doors in the bedrooms have security blinds whereas the lounge has a metal security grill which folds back during the day and is hidden behind the curtains. There is secure parking in the garage which is entered by a zapper controlled door. A lift takes you up to the apartment which is on the first floor. LOCATION The complex of Altea Dorada is situated in the village of Mascarat which is a 5 minute drive to Altea, It is a short walk to the Luis Campomanes Marina where there is a selection of small shops and various bars/restaurants. There is a diving school and you can also hire a boat with or without crew. Not to be missed is Club Nautico where you can relax and enjoy an excellent meal. Its also a place to have a drink and tapas at lunchtime and people watch. There is a shingle beach just a 5 minute walk away. Altea is definitely worth a visit. The skyline is dominated by the blue and white ceramic tiled roof of the church which sits on top of a hill. The church square has many little bars/restaurants and along the lanes that wind their way down to the town, you can find a wide selection of individual shops and can even watch the odd artist at work in their studio/shop. The town itself has some exclusive shops and the market which is held on a Tuesday is not to be missed. Along the promenade there are even more shops and many bars/restaurants.It is a great place to stop for a coffee or something a little stronger! In the other direction is Calpe which is a 10 minute drive away. Again there are many shops to look round but the jewel in Calpes crown is the expansive sandy beach where you can often watch the kite surfing. Also worth a visit is Calpes old town and its narow streets. ENTERTAINMENT/SPORTS If you want the night life, Benidorm is a 25 minute drive away. During the day Benidorm has its famous water park, Aqualandia and also the Terra Mitica theme park - a must for the children. There is a Golf Course - Don Cayo - only a 5 minute drive away. If youre more adventerous you could try paragliding - you can often watch the paragliders from the terrace - there is also diving, sailing, tennis, snorkelling, mountaineering, kite surfing and walking. TRANSPORT A car is definitely a must as there are no buses that pass the door! You can take a train from Altea to Denia where the station is in the middle of the town. More than enough shops to look round there as well as a large marina.
