A 3 bedroom villa with private garden and views of the surrounding countryside. Swimming pool directly opposite.
Description of Villa:
This is a corner villa in a private complex on the Torre Gran estate. The front overlooks the swimming pool and there is a paved garden at the back with views of the surrounding countryside. Upstairs are 2 of the bedrooms and the bathroom (with washing machine), these have access to a large southfacing sun terrace. The third bedroom is on the ground floor leading from the living area. The kitchen is open plan with combi microwave, electric hob and fridge/freezer. There is secure off road parking. Please note that there are stairs from the front and back terraces leading to the garden. The Torre Gran urbanisation, is approx. 3 kms from the town and beach, so a car would be reccommended. Free use of the communal swimming pool which is directly opposite, is provided with the villa. There is a large supermarket is at the entrance to the estate, about 10 mins walk. Estartit is situated on the Northern end of the Costa Brava. Originally a traditional fishing village and with 5 km of sandy beach, it is now a popular holiday resort. The offshore Medes Islands offer the largest concentration of marine life in the Mediterranean and is famed for the clarity of its water. Estartit is the leading diving center on the Costa Brava and excursions are available on the various glass-bottom boats. For the Golfer, 10 championship courses are within easy reach of the resort. Golfing can be booked for you. There are numerous excursions available including Barcelona; famous for the Ramblas, magic fountains, Olympic village, Sagrada Familla Cathedral and Figueres home of the Dali museum. The Port Aventura theme park can also be visited as a day trip. Estartit is surrounded by culture and many medieval villages, offering superb typical Spanish cuisine at amazingly low prices. There are also plenty of pretty coves to explore up and down the coast. Estartit is just 1 hour over the French border and close to 3 International Airports. GIRONA AIRPORT - 45 mins from resort Served by scheduled and charter flights and also budget airlines. BARCELONA AIRPORT - 1.5 -2 hours from resort PERPIGNAN AIRPORT - 1 hour from resort Taxi transfers can be arranged and booked for you. Or if you are hiring a car I can supply you with a detailed route direct to Estartit. If you fancy a cheaper and more adventurous alternative, you could catch the train from Barcelona or Perpignan airports to Estartit. I would be more than happy to work out a journey plan for you, as I have travelled this way myself. The location is ideal for those of you wishing to drive, England being only 12 hours away, with France, Belgium and Holland even less.
