Description of Townhouse:
Casa Feliz (happy house) Casa Feliz is a typical Andaluz townhouse situated in the center of Competa. It is within walking distance of the National Park for marvelous mountain walks or many charming villages to visit. The coast, with many beautiful beaches is only half an hour away. There is a swimming pool in the Hotel Balcon de Competa about 5 minutes away and in the next village, a 20 minute walk away. There is also horse riding in walking distance. Casa Feliz is distinctive for its black and white mosaic front, created the local artist Placi who used to live there. If you look you will find many of his paintings in local shops and restaurants. Casa Feliz is just 1-2 minutes from main square, the local shops (general stores, pharmacy etc), bars and restaurants and car parking. But it is perfectly situated in a quiet street, you can hear the church bells but there is no access for cars. The house has a wooden floored open-plan living/dining room and kitchen with doors opening onto a small balcony. A TV and DVD set is provided and on only a 2 minutes walk you can find the local DVD video shop Marco Polo. The kitchen area is fully equipped with electric cooker, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. There are two double bedrooms; the first has a double bed and the second has bunk beds which can be made into 2 singles (this room is open plan and you have to pass through it to get to the bathroom). If needed the sofa in the living gives additional sleeping spaces. The bathroom has a bath with shower. All rooms are equipped with cooling fans At the top of the house is an attractive small roof terrace, complete with drinks table, large sun-shade parasol and four reclining chairs. Views are great in either direction; that is, towards the town/church and mountains or towards the coast in the other direction. Handover / Linens: Linens, blankets, towels and duvets are provided and a washing machine is available. Although we do recommend you bring your own beach towels.
