On the foot of the Montjuic hill, hidden between 19th century Modernista buildings in a neighborhood full of local life and authenticity youll find this immaculate mediterranean hideaway. Once you made it up the steps of this apartment situated on the 5th floor you are rewarded by the impressive view the terrace provides of the city. Relax in a hammock with the complementary bottle of cava as you overlook the array of red rooftops spreading out over the city blurring with the deep blue colors of the mediterranean sea on the horizon. You will cherish this home for its ability to dictate its own tranquil rhythm elevated far above the distant hum of the cities streets. This neighborhood reveals some of the most unpolished gems of Barcelona. With great restaurants, bakerys and cafés and the beautiful Sant Antoni market nearby. It is no more than a 10 minutes walk to Las Ramblas and close to several of the citys most important cultural venues such as the Miro foundation, the National Museum of Catalonia, the Palau Sant Jordi (renown for its great and vibrant concerts) the Olympic Stadium, the Botanic Gardens on the Montjuic and many other noteworthy sites. The Apartment has: - original mosaic tiled floors, ceilings with wooden beams - a bedroom with a double bed - a second bedroom with a double bed (due to noise restrictions we only rent out the flat to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children) - a livingroom with a lounge area and a dining area - a sun room overlooking the Montju�c and the sea - an immaculate terrace with outside furniture, hammock etc. - a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc. - a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink - linen and towels and a hair dryer - a washing machine/dryer - fans for those hot summer nights - electrical heaters to make the colder winter evenings cosy - Satelite TV, CD/DVD player + a collection of CDs & DVDs - ADSL WIFI internet connection (bring your own computer) - NO ELEVATOR, the apartment is on the topfloor (6th) - This apartment is not recommendable for people with mobility problems
