Beautiful rustic country house set in stunning surroundings just 30 minutes from BARCELONA and 15 minutes from the sandy beaches of SITGES

Recently the subject of Channel 5�s programme �A Dream Home Abroad,
Can Barcoq sits to the rear or Can Pau De Olivella, a beautiful old Catalan Masia, parts of which date back to the 12th century, situated on the edge of the tiny village of Olivella in the National Park Garraf.
Surrounded by vineyards, the property is just 30 minutes from Barcelona.
The cottage has recently been fully restored maintaining all of its rustic features whilst offering all the comforts of modern day living. The accomodation is spacious and comfortable with a private walled garden and pool.
The garden gate leads directly into the stunning Garraf National Park which is perfect for cycling and walking whilst close by are tennis and horseriding facilities.
The safe, sandy beaches of Sitges are just a 15 minute drive and offer a wide range of watersports.
Sleeping 6 - 8 people the accomodation is as follows
2 Double Bedroom - 1 en-suite shower room
1 Twin Bedroom
Family Bathroom with bath and shower over
Downstairs shower room
Large fully equipped kitchen with dining table
2 sitting rooms - one with sofa bed
Utility room with washing machine and dryer
For larger groups we also have new for 2009 a very large en-suite bedroom available (see photo). This is part of our house but has a separate entrance.
Outside is a covered barbeque area with table and chairs, a large shady terrace with seating, a decked pool area and a small lawn. Being surrounded by a high stone wall, the pool and garden are completely secluded.
Price includes all bedding, towels etc and a midstay clean and bedding change for durations in excess of one week
Changeover day is Saturday
We are more than happy to provide extra beds free of charge for those of you who dont mind sharing! Cots and highchairs can also be provided on request. We have loads of books, dvds etc which you are more than welcome to borrow
We also have some bikes which you are welcome to use.
With 4 children ourselves we have tried to make the property as child friendly as possible and the swimming pool is gated.
The nearest facilites are 5 minutes by car where you will find a bank with cashpoint, a pharmacy and a grocery shop selling fresh bread, veg, fruit and meat along with other basics. The town of Sant Pere de Ribes is 10 minutes away with a supermarket etc.
The Universal Studios theme park PORT AVENTURA is one hour away
Barcelona airport is just 30 minutes, Reus 50 minutes and Gerona an hour and 30 minutes.
We accept payment by either bank transfer or credit card )mastercard or Visa)
20% deposit is required to confirm booking with the balance being due 6weeks before arrival. Credit card details are required to cover damages.
Short breaks are available at certain times of the year, please enquire for details.
We also have available bed and breakfast in a large en-suite room
