Description of Townhouse:
Lovingly restored small 3 story house, comfortably furnished and equipped to offer a good standard of accommodation. The house gives ample space for couples and families alike. Located in a pedestrian street in the historic quarter, Albayzín, 2 min walking distance from Plaza Nueva (city centre), it enjoys clear views from the terrace of the Alhambra, Generalife and Sacromonte. Ground floor: Entry hall and storage cupboard. First floor: two double bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a big double bed (150cm x 190cm), bedside table with reading lamp, wardrobe and writing desk near the window. Bedroom 2 has a similar sized bed, bedside table and lamp with a writing desk near the window also. The well appointed bathroom has a toilet, powerful shower and hand-basin with one wall of mirror behind. Second floor: lounge, dining area. The stairs lead upwards to a spacious lounge with single Turkish-style sofa (which also functions as a single bed with an additional single bed base underneath). The dining area, with its darkwood table, seats six. As well as four upholstered dining chairs there are four folding café style chairs available if needed. Two darkwood trunks offer storage as well as acting as a traditional style coffee table. The lounge has a colour TV. French doors at one end offer a beautiful view of the Sacromonte valley and countryside beyond. Mezzanine: kitchen The kitchen overlooks the dining and lounge areas in a modern open-plan design, while also enjoying views of the fountain at the base of the Placeta Cavajales. It is fully serviced with an electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave, coffee-maker, iron and all the utensils (pots, pans, plates and cutlery necessary). Outside Terrace with a table and 4 chairs. Enjoys open wonderful views on the Alhambra, Generalife and the Sacromonte. The house has air-conditioning and heating system, telephone and wireless internet access (WLAN).
