Description of Apartment: |
Our home from home here in Spain is situated in a peaceful location but with easy access to numerous bars and restaurants. There are views to the sea and the 17th hole of Villamartin golf course from the large roof terrace which is equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs and barbeque. There is a sunny south facing balcony off the lounge/dining room, great for those sunny breakfasts and evening drinks, we spend most of our time here, I sit here in the morning with my coffee in the sun, this is really home to me, I never want to leave. We also have a private enclosed back garden offering welcome shade. It has a double and twin bedroom together with a put-u-up bed and fully tiled bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equiped and there is a utility room with a washing machine and plenty of storage. Two minutes walk through a beautiful wooded area with waterfalls and bridges, brings you to a choice of two landscaped swimming pools for the exclusive use of our development, both with childrens pools.
There a number of gorgeous sandy beach close by, most have been awarded the european blue flag for cleanliness, and a number of championship golf courses, three being within a 5 minute drive of the apartment.
The climate here is perfect with around 320 days of sunshine each year.
Approx 45 minutes drive from Alicante airport and 20 minutes from Murcia airport.
There are numerous restaurants and bars offering every kind of international cuisine in Villamartin plaza nearby, together with a bowling alley, chemists and supermarket. Horse riding and go-carts are also close by, together with tennis courts at the Villamartin golf complex.
Torrevieja is approx 5 kilometres away where there is a large marina and most nights the streets are lined with market stalls. Here there are an abundance of bars, restaurants, tapas bars and night clubs as well as excellent shopping, a very spanish town.
Other places of interest include, Terra Mitica, & Terra Natura in Benidorm (1 hour away) the mediterraneans biggest theme park, Mundomar - Benidorm, marine and exotic animal park.Elche, an immense 500 acre grove of over 3000,000 palm trees,Tabarca, a mile long island inhabited by a handful of fishermen - by boat from Torrevieja harbour, or Santa Pola.Alicante old town in steeped in history with excellent shopping and spanish restaurants.

2 superb landscaped swimming pools with seperate childrens pools, with beaches 5 mins drive away.
