Enjoy a relaxing holiday in Gran Alicant near the delightful town of
Santa Pola on the beautiful Costa Blanca.
Within easy reach of Alicante airport, our accommodation is located in a
quiet residential square, which surrounds a shared swimming pool and garden.
The beach is just 10 minutes walk away and the nearest restaurants and
shops even closer. Our house is also an excellent base from which to explore the Costa Blanca coast and inland areas.
The Accommodation
Little Heber is a terraced villa situated around a large shared pool and
garden. It is set in a quiet location within the district of Gran Alicant and is
just 10 minutes drive from Alicante airport.
The villa has a front balcony and a patio area, perfect for those al fresco
meals or a pre-dinner drink before you make your way to a restaurant.
You enter the house into a spacious lounge and dining area. The lounge is
complete with SateliteTV/DVD, ceiling fan, sofa bed (sleeping 1/2 persons) and an
arm chair.
The dining area is situated next to a very well equipped kitchen, which includes an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle
washing machine. The final room downstairs is a large shower room and toilet - very handy when you have just come back from the beach or the pool. There is also a handy storage cupboard under the stairs.
The stairs leads up to a landing area with further storage space.
The main bedroom has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and bdside table, ceiling fan. Double patio doors lead on to a balcony, which overlooks the swimming pool and garden.
The second bedroom contains two single beds and fitted wardrobe, ceiling fan.
The large bathroom is equipped with a bath with shower facilities.
The Local Area
Gran Alicant is part of the district of Santa Pola, which boasts excellent beaches and a small fishing port. Just off-shore is the Island of Tarbacca which can be reached by fast glass-bottomed boat.
Alicante only 15 min drive away, boasts all the facilities of a modern city, excellent beaches, shops and malls as well the culture of old Spain.
Benedorm, only 40minutes away, offers all the facilities and excitement of a modern seaside holiday and is conveniently located for the nearby theme parks such as:
Terra Mitica - Theme park
Terra Natura - Zoo and Water park
Aqualandia - Water park
Mundomar - Sealife park
Recreational activities available in the area include water skiing, jet-skiing, diving, wind surging, cayaking, fishing, cycling, birdwatching, and paragliding from nearby Santa Pola cape.
There are many colourful festivals throughout the region during the year.
Getting There
Alicante airport is the nearest to our accommodation. It is modern and well equipped to serve all your needs including a variety of car hire companies.
For flights to Alicante from the UK it is worth checking the Easyjet, BMIbaby, Flybe, Thomson Fly etc.
The Weather
Costa Blanca has a marvellous climate with high average temperatures.
